Bob Wilhelm
Bob Wilhelm is a career management accounting professional, a longtime paper industry finance leader who has served as vice president for two public companies in the industry. For thirty-five years, Bob has worked in mill towns and large cities, providing financial analysis and partnering with stakeholders to support manufacturing business goals. With his undergraduate degree from Siena College, MBA from the University of Maine, plus CMA and CPA certifications (inactive), he has provided thoughtful business acumen and leadership in many challenging situations.
Besides his management accounting interests, Bob has a love of ideas and philosophy. Raised in a devout Catholic family, Bob tried to make sense of that theology but struggled mightily. His ideas on the majesty of the natural world and a drive to make sense of it persisted. Over a lifetime of consideration, Bob developed his own ideas on the Universe and ethics. Natural Wonders is his first published book. In it, he shows the pain of wrestling with his raised-in faith and the growth and insights that emerged.
